Note:

• Internal evaluation is both for theory and practical examination.
• Any student who fails to pass first professional BDS examination in four chances or does not avail the chance despite being eligible for examination shall cease to pursue further dental education in Pakistan.

Second Professional BDS Examination

To be held at the end of second academic year in following subjects:

GENERAL PATHOLOGY & MICROBIOLOGY

    
ORAL ANATOMY, HISTOLOGY PHYSIOLOGY AND TOOTH MORPHOLOGY

• Internal evaluation is both for theory and practical examination.

Final Professional BDS Examination

To be held at the end of fourth academic year in following subjects:

PROSTHETICS INCLUDING CROWN & BRIDGE WORK

     
ORTHODONTIA AND RADIOLOGY

   
OPERATIVE/RESTORATIVE/CONSERVATIVE DENTISTRY  

    
ORAL DIAGNOSIS, ORAL MEDICINE

 
ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY, ANAESTHESIA, FORENSIC & TOXICOLOGY, MEDICO DENTAL ETHIS & DENTAL PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

     
Note:

• Internal evaluation is both for theory and practical examination.

 

Final Professional MBBS Examination

To be held at the end of fifth academic year in the following subjects:

MEDICINE INCLUDING PSYCHIATRY AND DERMATOLOGY  

     
SURGERY INCLUDING ORTHOPAEDICS AND ANAESTHESIA    

 
GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS  

  
PAEDIATRICS INCLUDING NEONATOLOGY
